Another Busy Afternoon for the Pride of Surrey Council

In January the Pride of Surrey Council No. 168 had another candidate for admission to the Degree of Select Master, and two candidates for the Degree of Royal Master.

Another Busy Afternoon for the Pride of Surrey Council The Council was opened by the T.I.M. Ill.Comp. Barry Northmore, who welcomed everyone. R.Ill. Comp. Arnold Long, Past District Grand Master, an Honorary Member of the Council, was saluted with 7. The first item on the agenda was to Choose as a Select Master Bro. Robert Woolloff of Welcome Craft Lodge, Weald of Surrey Mark Lodge, and Welcome Chapter. The ceremony of Select Master was undertaken by Ill.Comp. Chris Eley, assisted by Ill.Comp. David Thompson who presented the history of the Degree. Comp. Bob was then welcomed into the Council by Ill. Comp. Chris and the T.I.M. Ill.Comp. Barry Northmore; and into the Order by R.Ill. Comp. Arnold Long.

A Council of Select Masters was then adjourned and a Council of Royal Masters was opened. Comps. Roy Miller and Bob Woolloff were Honoured as Royal Masters by the T.I.M., Ill.Comp. Barry Northmore, the acting Deputy Master, Ill.Comp. Tony Laird and the acting PCW, Comp Tim Ford, who discharged the duties of PCW in an excellent manner.

Another Busy Afternoon for the Pride of Surrey Council After the Council of Royal Masters was closed and the Council of Select Masters resumed the T.I.M. invited R.Ill. Comp. Arnold Long to present a Grand Council Certificate to Comp. Garth Blanchard. This was done in a most interesting and informative way.
